Five Alarm Funk is a Vancouver-based, 12-piece rhythm machine pounding out a delirium-inducing live show with original funk and afro-beat grooves. The band's horn and percussion-driven instrumental jams feature searing guitar leads and horn solos wailing and soaring above a four-man percussion maelstrom that is grounded by Neil Towers' juicy bass lines. The band's wicked cross-rhythms and frenetic, costumed stage show appeals to jazz fans and club kids alike.

He'll be making his way to the westcoast with mc's Abstract Rude and Yarah Bravo. Born in Saint Petersburg Russia, raised in London and now currently a resident of Brooklyn New York, Vadim brings a world of experience to his music production and performances. His sound is unpredictable with touches of disco and tubby-esque dub moments, varied with brushes of blues, soul and rap, urban grime bedlam with double time bounce and ambitious combining so many influences and yet making it feel like they all fit. This is a rare opportunity to see a Ninja tunes master at work!!

Southern swamp blues-rock mayhem with paint-peeling slide guitar like you've never heard: Grady from Austin, tx is a razor-sharp power trio fronted by guitar master Gordie Johnson who counts gold/platinum records on his wall from his stint with Big Sugar. With picks on all his fingers, he rips the strings, loud as hell, through a Garnet pre-amp with a whole lotta power. Grady has a fiercer, more direct sound than his previous music-a perfect fit for Alternative Tentacles. Grady's live show is a spontaneous subsonic combustion that swerves between punk rock agro and field holler hypnosis. As Jello Biafra once enthused "These guys are the missing link between Junior Brown and Black Flag". Grady is a thundering Texas locomotive flying down the tracks with a sound that will convince you Motoerhead has joined forces with John Lee Hooker.
